Over long term use of HURRICANE Cotton Mesh Filters, dirt may build up affecting air-flow to through the filter and to the engine
It is important to wash the HURRICANE Cotton Mesh Filter every 5,000 – 10,000 km to ensure optimal performance
This cleaner set comes with [1] 150ml HURRICANE Spray bottle cleaner to loosen the dirt that may stick and bond to the cotton mesh filter, and [2] 150ml HURRICANE Filter oil spray can. This oil is used to apply to the cotton mesh filter AFTER it has been washed and COMPLETELY DRY.
OIL APPLYING TIPS: Apply filter oil uniformly to the cotton mesh filter. DO NOT OIL THE COTTON MESH FILTER TOO HEAVILY as it will impede air flow and the excess oil may affect the MAF sensor. Apply oil in a controlled, uniform manner.
